About Chalantika

Chalantika is a traveling community art project initiated by Shunno Art Foundation. Rooted in the philosophy of movement and transformation, Chalantika brings creative workshops, exhibitions, and conversations to diverse locations—ranging from urban schools to remote villages. Through participatory art practices, it fosters awareness about climate change, sustainability, well-being, and the power of collective expression.

BHASHAJOG- Celebrating the expression of language through printmaking

This printmaking workshop series is a creative platform for young voices to explore the idea of language as identity, expression, and freedom. Rooted in Bangladesh’s linguistic history yet oriented toward the future, BhashaJog encourages youth to reflect on their personal languages, dialects, and forms of communication beyond political narratives.

The workshop kicked off in Dhaka with the goal of traveling across all districts of Bangladesh, reaching diverse communities and ethnic groups. By engaging with local areas, traditions, and cultural practices, the series creates opportunities for inclusive participation and shared learning.

Through hands-on visual storytelling, the project fosters dialogue, connection, and a celebration of cultural diversity. The call for workshops is now open—inviting young participants from four districts ethnic community to join this journey of creativity and expression.
