Language is more than a tool of communication—it is a vessel of thought, culture, identity, and resistance. In Bangladesh, where linguistic identity holds a deeply historical significance, many local languages, dialects, and oral narratives continue to remain unheard or undervalued due to social hierarchies, lack of access, and dominant narratives.
“Bhashajog” is a travelling art-based initiative that uses the medium of printmaking to explore and express the diversity of language across regions. It aims to create a space where visual storytelling and personal expression meet through traditional and experimental print forms. This project transforms language from spoken expression into a visual and artistic one—preserving, amplifying, and celebrating linguistic identity through collective creativity.
