What we did?

Empower Students as Environmental Advocates : On this World Environment Day, Chalantika, in collaboration with the Bangladesh Sustainable Alliance (BSA), is thrilled to announce its journey to Savar Government College for a unique and impactful printmaking workshop. As we gather to celebrate our planet and take action against environmental pollution, Chalantika aims to inspire students to become environmental advocates through the power of creative expression.

Art as a Catalyst for Environmental Awareness

The collaboration with BSA is grounded in a shared mission: to raise awareness about environmental challenges while empowering youth to take action. In today’s world, where the climate crisis and pollution pose serious threats, educating and inspiring the next generation is more important than ever. Through the Chalantika mobile studio, students at Savar Government College will not only explore the art of printmaking but also learn how their creative talents can contribute to a cleaner and more sustainable future.

Printmaking for Change

The workshop will focus on using sustainable, eco-friendly materials in printmaking, highlighting how art can be a tool for environmental advocacy. By using recycled and reusable materials, students will learn to integrate the principles of reuse, recycle, and reproduce into their artwork, turning everyday waste into powerful messages for change.
