Chalantika: Inspiring Change Through Art

Chalantika, a mobile studio project by Shunno Studio, is an artist-driven initiative dedicated to sparking social awareness, promoting well-being, and building a more mindful community. Since its founding in 2017, Chalantika has operated on the profound belief that art transcends boundaries, challenges perspectives, and fosters dialogues that can inspire change. Our mission is simple yet transformative: to use creativity as a bridge for understanding, encouraging reflection on the nature of reality, knowledge, and the interconnectedness of our lives.

Through a combination of immersive printmaking workshops, art-based mindfulness sessions, and community-driven events, Chalantika transforms art into a tool for collective action and social impact. While environmental sustainability remains a core focus, our work also addresses a range of social issues, including mental health, community well-being, and social equity. By fostering a safe space for self-expression and emotional exploration, Chalantika empowers participants to reflect on their place in the world and explore the values that drive meaningful change.

With the capacity to engage up to 100 participants daily, our team leads hands-on sessions that incorporate art, mindful reflection, and collective dialogue. Participants not only learn practical approaches to sustainable living but also explore tools for managing stress, nurturing mindfulness, and developing emotional resilience. Through our motivational visual posters, they gain awareness of topics ranging from responsible waste management to the importance of inner well-being and mindfulness in everyday life.
